Open Knowledge
Fablab Amersfoort is a place to share knowlegde. Everyone who uses the Lab will share his knowledge with the other visitors. The Fabpresentations are a growing database of online designs and useful discoveries that anyone can use and add to.
An important part of open knowlegde is open design. In the design world it is not so common yet to share your design. A designer who does work with open design a lot is Joris van Tubbergen.
Workshops
At least weekly, there will be workshops at Fablab Amersfoort, varying from Fablabworkshops, where you learn to use the Fablab machines, to Toko's that have a wider focus.
Children
We are also starting up a children's Fablab on sundays. We will call them Fabclub.
We already do workshops in cooperation with Kunsthal Kade and Doezo. Children can join with their school or independently.
